QNAP NAS Community Forum

My question is in regard to users updating their passwords. When the QNAP is configured to use local or even ldap as its user / group manager, users can update their passwords via logging into the HTTPS web page of the QNAP and selecting their name at the top and update password. However when the QNAP is configured as the AD Controller this functionality is no longer available. I do realize users can use their windows computers and Control Alt Del and update password, but I am looking for a solution that users can use online and away from their PC's.

Is there such a way presently that I have missed or can this be implemented in a future QNAP release?

what do you mean by "online" from where are users supposed to change their password?
