Just in case it help someone.

I noticed the init script was failing on

Code: Select all

 if [ `/sbin/getcfg Samba Enable -u -d TRUE` = FALSE ]
        then
            _del_home
            _init_home
            _del_qbox
            _init_qbox
            echo "Starting SMB Services: disabled."
            exit 0
        fi
so I went back to the console and typed

Code: Select all

# /sbin/setcfg Samba Enable TRUE
and that was it. Afterwards I could restart SMB just as normal.

Have you finished the Web browser for this app as yet?

Its a very good app and I would like to manage the PDC via the web gui.

Also, have you test this on Windows 8/8.1?
