Hi,
I have a heap of music videos that I would like to add a tag (eg 80's, 90's) and although I can tag one at a time (select, right click, Information, then add tag) is there a way I can select a number of videos and add a tag to them all? I really don't want to have to individually tag 100's of videos..
Thanks!

Re: Video Station - Bulk Tag
I need that too because VS does a poor job of allowing me to manage my videos. Would be ok if I only had few hundred movies, but my server has 1300 movies, 2000 TV episodes, and 4000 documentary features. I depend right now upon DLNA to show me my videos based upon "Folders" because thats how I have subdivided them for easier access. I don't care about actor, director, etc methods for searching as I want to find them based upon genre or hopefully TAGS.
So far, not found any avenue to select a group of videos and stick a tag on them of my choice. Seems to me to be far more useful than any other means. For example, family videos might want to group a tag on some for '"Christmas 2009" and maybe additionally some of those tagged "Aunt Gerty". Been searching to find out how Qnap VS might store tags whether in the video file, a hidden file, a database, or some XML code somewhere. There is no info out there that I can find that enlightens me as to how stuff is stored in the background. My Linux abilities have let me discover some of the structure/organization, but nothing about tags.

I would suggest creating a Helpdesk ticket for your feature request as this is a Community forum.

Re: Video Station - Bulk Tag
By curiosity since it has been quite some time ago, has this been brought up and any workaround available today in Video Station?
