Recently, I was changed my NAS from Synology 4 bays NAS to QNAP TS-431P2. However, I found the user experience of QNAP Photo Station are worse than Synology Photo Station.
The following is my suggestions for QNAP Photo Station. I hope QNAP can improve their Photo Station user experiences.
1. (Highly recommended) Please add Photo Station Extension support in non x86 NAS. E.g. QNAP TS-431P2
2. (Highly recommended) Please add support auto-created smart albums. Photos will be grouped into different topics such as people, locations, and subject.
3. Please add permission support for auto-created smart albums.
4. Please add photo station rule base integration feature. E.g. After my mobile take photo for specified people (E.g. my children), the photo will be backup up and show in the item 2 smart albums when Wifi connected.
5. Please add star feature. Please refer Google Picasa star feature.
