Change cache settings on HD Station and Kodi?

Post by jan.ph »

The Kodi on my TS251+ HD station keeps reporting the cache is full during buffering. I cannot believe this since my machine still has a lot of free memory. I am thinking maybe the memory allocation settings on either the HD station or the Kodi app might be too low. Is there a way to access and change the memory settings for

(1) The HD station App and
(2) The Kodi app installed on the HD station?

None of the manuals and the available configuration settings on the web administration showed any way to change these. For Kodi, perhaps there is a way to access and modify the default advancedsettings.xml file created by the system?

Hey, perform the following steps, it might help:
1. Download Easy Advance Settings add-on
2. Go to the advance setting and make changes to cachemembuffersize as 139460608, buffermode as 1, and readbufferfactor as 20.
3. Apply the changes.

Hope this works. If you feel you need more information, visit:
