Video station not download covers from Internet

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone experience similar problem with video station, which fails to download movie covers from Internet.
Movies are recognised correctly, but there is no poster to download:

Any chance you can report back with an update. I have the same problem. Been using Twonky for years and never really bother with Video Station until now (Twonky being retired).
If I have to use video station, does this now work or do I install Plex?

I'm having the same issue as well. Multiple times I've clicked the edit button, searched for the movie, selected the correct one, clicked Apply...same poster is there (usually a still from the movie). Even the movie data is missing as it only shows the date. It should have a synopsis, cast, director, etc based on what I've read about VideoStation and what it imports. I too have a lot of movies and don't want to have to correct all of them. Wondering if using the "TMDb for Movie" media add-on will correct the issue or if I should just use PLEX vice the default media app.

I'm sorry to say I gave up using VS from QNAP and finally moved to PLEX.
QNAP won't fix belongings of single users nor even just give some tips from an internal view.
Sure, maybe you can fix the DB by resetting the whole media library. Works well 'till you only move one file or have a informal character in the name...

Just wanted to add 'me too'. I can manually tell VS to get the metadata, it finds and matches, click apply and..it doesn't

I opened a ticket since some suggested it (JYZ-696-77490 for reference). I didn't put too much faith in customer service so I ended up using Plex. QNAP contacted me with the below and wanted to start a TeamViewer session, I opted out.

"Thank you for contacting QNAP support. The issue you're having is common among movie watchers such as yourself. The Video station database automatically puts a selected poster basted on matching names. To make this process smoother, any movies added in should follow the format from IMDB."
