Playing MKV file but withouth audio on HDMI connection

I have a TS 453A connected on HDMI to TV.When I try to play MKV or avi file, using Hybridesk, I don't have sound, but for mp4 file everything works fine.
Any idea ???

what player is used?

what codecs are involved? (mp4 and mkv are containers)

i'm using HD Player.
About the codecs, i don't know.I installed CodexPack 4.5.0

if that mkv files has ac3 or dts audio, qnaps own players might have issues (licensing)

try kodi
