Hi..
On a TS-231, after some update the Video Station won't allow any user to logon using my domain/video link, the logon screen just says invalid username or password.
Looking at the chrome console log is the following repeatably.
VM60:164 WebSocket connection to 'wss://127.0.0.1:8143/' failed: Error in connection establishment: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
WrappedWebSocket @ VM60:164
app.js?5.3.0.6a02bc2:2 The connection was closed abnormally

app.js?5.3.0.6a02bc2:2 The connection was closed abnormally
which is obviously wrong.
My nas has just undergone a factory reset and setup from scratch and this problem still occurs., I have made sure the users have access e.t.c....

Re: Video station wont allow any user to logon
I have the same problem. Video Station will not allow any user including Admin to run it from the main hybrid desk station screen.
MY current work-around is to log in to QTS and THEN run Video Station.
This seems like something QNAP should address.

Keeping up the tradition of adding one post per year to this thread:
As a new QNAP user, I ran into the same issue.
It appears the issue is simply with the documentation .
Instead of accessing the video station at <nas address>/video, try accessing it <nas address>:<qts port>/video.
in other words, for example, not http://mynas/video, but http://mynas:8080/video
That fixed the login issue for me.
