After suffering from poor performance when viewing MOV files using the QNAP QMEDIA app running on a Sony Android TV I decided to transcode all videos to MP4 on my QNAP TS-253 Pro.
After a couple of days of processing all of my transcoded videos were present in a @TRANSCODE folder. All good!
However the QMEDIA app running on my TV can see all folders but not the @TRANSCODE subfolder which makes the whole transcoding process pointless (from the viewpoint of the Sony Android TV QMEDIA app).
What's going on here? Why can't my QMEDIA client view and play the content of the @TRANSCODE folder?

Re: QMEDIA app and transcode folder
Yes - What are the best practices for this??
I found this post because I have the same problem...
It seems this wasn't thought all the way through...
QuMagie also does not recognize @Transcode directory either...
Advise, please.
Thank you!

Re: QMEDIA app and transcode folder
I have the same problem and I hope, that somebody from QNAP will answer this posts.
Could we change something in settings, or is it a bug and when will we get an update for the App?
Thank you
