Photo station not seeing new synced folders in QFile

Photo station not seeing new synced folders in QFile

I have synced my photos on my pc with my NAS and this works well in that QFile gets updated with the Qsync update, but the new files are not then being recognised by Photostation or Qumagie which defeated the object of having them on my NAS other than as a back up file. I have QNAP TS-473. Is there a setting to adjust or is it a bug? Any help welcome.
