I want to be able to open some of the QNAP services for Internet users, like the Multimedia Station (photo album).
I have my TS-409 in a LAN within a firewall.
It is today not possible (according to my knowledge) to allow traffic trogh my firewall to the Multimedia Station without at the same time allow traffic to System Admin, since these servcies share the same port.
I want to have System Management, Web File Manager, Multimedia Station, and Download Station all on individual ports, and prefereably configurable.
By this, I can open up some services, like the Multimedia Station, to the internet in my WAN-LAN firewall and have others, like System Admin, lokked.
All for security reasons.

Re: Individual ports
Hi,
You can probably configure this yourself as a forward in Apache.
You would need to add a second port, and then split the config for the directories.
I'll check it out when my QNAP arrives. Hopefully this week...
Cheers,
Oliver.
