Looking for a tutorial to sync 2 NAS over Internet

Hi,
How to sync 2 QNAP NAS over the internet ?
I supposed this question simple question should have answers several times but I cannot find any recent videos or tutorial showing how to do step by step... After 3 hours of searching, I ask the community...

Do I use myQNAPcloud ?
Do I have to open ports in my boxes on each distant place ?
do I have, in HBS3 to use "RTRR server account" or "Remote NAS account"
Theses noob questions should be answers somewhere

You mean than to sync 2 NAS I must use a VPN for safety ? There is no build-in solutions with QNAP apps? (sorry to rephrase I'm a noob in NAS -my fist ones- AND I am not a native English speaker ¯\_(ツ)_/¯).

As said..never ever ever forward any ports to qnap..even the builtin qvpn service was exploited earlier this year

so look for above mentioned solutions

after a site2site was established, you can backup/sync the units like in your local network

With basic networking knowlage (you need this .. but it's easy) it's all easy ..

I've been on this page, there is no informations on the network part over Internet.
Doing this on a LAN is piece of cake in deed, I did it.
The problem for me is not how they sync, but how they connect over internet...

That's why I said you need to check for site2site VPN tutorials, HBS has nothing to do with VPN

No help can be given as you haven't even disclosed:

Internet connection involved (IPv4,IPv6,CGNAT?)
Router hardware involved on both ends (VPN capable?)

Make sure by "get VPN' you do not mix up site2site VPN with any paid anonymizer VPN services that are advertised and shilled all over the internet .. that has nothing to do with what you want

The precision is right. Indeed I already have a VPN paid and anonymizer.
When you speak of a site2site VPN, I suppose you mean a IPsec Tunnel between routers.

A tunnel between routers correct, could be IPSEC or OpenVPN or Wireguard, your choice
