Problems with RTTR after Firmware Upgrade

Post by ediazecg »

Hi,

I have two QNAP TS-869U-RP have been using RTTR for over a year with no problems! Yesterday I decided to upgrade my destination QNAP, with no problems RTRR was running great, later at night decided to upgrade the Source, after that all of the jobs fail in differentes moments, sometimes they say that are in "Standby" moments later I see "Retry2, will restry afet xx seconds".

When I look at the logs I see this:

[RTRR Job] (Sync) Job XXXXXXr-->Remote:XXXXXXX failed: Server is terminated by a request! Please check Network Access Protection in server setting page, or Incoming List page.. Begin the 1st retry.

But I don't have anything set, and it was working fine before the upgrade. The firmware I am using is "4.2.0 2015/09/25". Anyone with the same error?

Edit 1: I forgot to mention the only real change I did was to the source I now have Port Trunking with Balance-RR.

Unfortunately I am having the same issue. Upgraded the TS-221 to Version 4.2.0 (2015/09/25) this morning and started getting flooded with RTRR errors. I made no other changes. The remote TS-451 was upgraded a few weeks ago without issue. The strange thing is, it still seems to replicate my files, but generate the errors. I've tested a couple folders by placing a small test file into them, waiting a minute, then looking at the remote folder, and it contains the file. Hopefully someone can explain whats going on. I don't want to spend my weekend on this!

In case anyone else comes across this, I had this same problem today after updating to 4.2.0 ("Server is terminated by a request!..."), and solved it by re-creating the replication jobs with exactly the same settings and the new versions then worked fine.
