RTRR taking 50+ hours

Post by shane_saintsfc »

Nas in one location has photos folder with 170GB of data.

Nas in backup location has shared folder and manually copied over the data so it has the same 170GB of photos.

Setting up RTRR so that any new items added will be backed up to the remote NAS but it's taking 42+ hours. Should it not know that the files are already there and skip them so it only copied over new files?

--

I've checked both folders are correct
No files are being duplicated

NAS remote site - TS-231 Version 4.2.3
Our site - TS-1253U-RP Version 4.2.2

Remote site has RTRR backup local folder to remote folder to backup to our site. Files were manually copied so trying to get the backup working just for new files but job taking 40+ hours so presume it's going through all files and not taking into account the files that were manually copied.

Only filter system-generated temp files, I did also try with the Check File contents ticked but this made no different.

I would suggest TS-231 is your problem.
