Nested Hyper-V Guest

Post by sjtsnix »

assuming that Virtualization Station based on KVM, the referenced URL below states:

Nested guests are KVM guests run in a KVM guest. As of Feb 2018 this feature is considered working but experimental, and some limitations apply.

https://www.linux-kvm.org/page/Nested_Guests

Will Virtualization Station support nested Guest in the future?

I need to run Windows Server 2019 with a couple of nested VM's for a Lab setup on my QNAP TVS-1282-i7-32GB

Hello Dolbyman,

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I have searched the forums, and tried a few things that other's have tried, then I found the URL I referenced in my original message leading me to believe this might not be something QNAP has implemented yet

After having no success with some of the things others have attempted to get this to work and then assuming that this was a forum that QNAP read per the "Features Wanted", forum name, I thought I'd reach out here to see if this feature might be added in the future.

thanks
