new Qnap 973

I just turned on my nas973 for the first time and it vibrates so severely that it produces a very, very annoying sound. i installed five western digital wd purple wd121purz 12tb

Unclear what feature you would like to to request..

Contact QNAP support or your vendor for issues .. also purple drives are not meant for RAID operation (optimized for sequential video streams)

I bought wd purple because I would use the nas mainly as an NVR, furthermore the violets are still well tolerated by the nas. The problem is the huge noise that the nas produces. when all the discs start it is impossible to work near the nas and it is impossible to keep it in the office in the midst of people or in the neighboring room, the noise is really annoying. I will try to change the discs, although these should already be at the highest level.
which discs do you recommend to use?

WD RED plus are the slowest and quietest NAS rated disks.

i have 2 NAS with 9 spinning disks running and I don't hear them in the next room. But I would not want them anywhere near my workplace
