after logging a ticket with QNAP, they confirmed this is a bug, (atleast with the model I am using ie. TS-212) developers are working on it, and no ETA. so fingers crossed, and hopefully they release an update soon.

Could add Amazon Cloud drive the Cloud Drive Sync. I'm waiting for a better solution. Thanks for the help mate

that doesn't work right (kind of), use the hybrid backup sync. you have the option of adding your amazon cloud drive and backing up to the cloud. running it as we speak and seems to be working.

i can't find it for some reason. there is a cache version on google but i am not sure if qnap removed it for a reason so... yea
