Synology has a indexing feature on their NAS.
Im not going to buy QNAP anymore (for reasons) but with the QNAP with have, is there any way to enable indexing?

Synos indexing does allow File Station to index it and its subfolders/files by name, and allows you to search for needed items by filename.riahc3 wrote:Synology has a indexing feature on their NAS.

Desperately want a fully fledged index? Consider QNAP's Qsirch and never think about the other vendor again.

Qsirh DOES not search for Folder name i have Patients ID as a folder name (software Related) and it takes ages to find a folder name becuase qsirch does nto return folder names only file names and no index on QNAP !!!
