Qfile integration for IOS11 Files
If you could get Qfile to plug-in into Apples new Files for IOS11 your Hardware will get a great boost of usage. Everybody equal of privat or business users could work directly on the stored files in all Apps without a Hugh sync problem or even an hard time of coping files or so on... It's a great feature which apples api will let your NAS-System stand out of the rest! Google Drive tc are working on it an as i read even Cortado will get her fileserver working with the new files integration! So this will be a great chance to stand out of the rest for you, and for us users it will be a perfect way to work with our files on iOS devices and apps like Office and Adobe etc...! So hurry up...

Re: Qfile integration for IOS11 Files
Question: will ios11 support WebDAV? If so, there is nothing more to be done.

The OP reads more like pro-Apple spam than a legitimate feature request.

Already a little more iterated -> viewtopic.php?f=24&t=133391 ... we will see if Qfile, Qsync, or both can take an advantage ...

Re: Qfile integration for IOS11 Files
After recently being given an iPad pro, I agree, improving the way files are integrated into iOS will be a huge win for QNAP but more importantly for the customer. I ended up getting an icloud account which really goes against the grain - I'm not a fan of my data on the internet, but working with QNAP storage and IOS is quite painful at present.

I am completely agree. Integration of Qfile with Files app in iOS11 will be a awesome improvement pushing up very High Qnap products productivity. IS QNAP working on it?

Use RAID and external backups. RAID will protect you from disk failure, keep your system running, and data accessible while the disk is replaced, and the RAID rebuilt. Backups will allow you to recover data that is lost or corrupted, or from system failure. One does not replace the other.

That's not very helpful. This is a feature request forum afterall.

This is a community forum that QNAP rarely participates in. You want an new feature then open a ticket with QNAP.

That may be but it's also a feature request forum. Your comment was completely unhelpful in the context of this particular forum.

Re: Qfile integration for IOS11 Files
I think it's very useful to have some feature ideas collected here. Many heads can bring up even better ideas and proposals.

I never said it wasn't useful to have ideas collected here. What I said is if you want QNAP to consider your idea you need to open a ticket with QNAP.

Re: Qfile integration for IOS11 Files
Before using this forum I was looking for a place in QNAP web where to express my suggestion but I did not find it. Getting support by opening a ticket is something that I have done more times I would like it but always related with problems with using productivity tools. I think ‘features wanted’ is out of the scope of support team. Any way I will try.
Thanks.
Thanks.
