Antivirus scan report / definitions version

Postby MSPMP » Thu Sep 28, 2017 8:49 pm

Would like the ability to view the antivirus definition version / date in the Antivirus scan report that is sent when a scan is complete.

I receive these reports remotely. We had a problem earlier where the definitions were not updating as they should have been. Now to make sure they are updating the only way to see the definition version is to log in. If the version could be emailed in the scan report that would be helpful.

Sample scan report sent when scan is complete:

NAS hostname :NAS
NAS IP : 192.168.X.XXX
Scan Job : McAfee AM Scan
Start Date: 2017/09/28 04:30:00
Duration : 125 m 46 s
Virus found : 0
Default action : nothing

Please submit a ticket to QNAP asking for this to be a feature request for the AV team. QNAP do not monitor these forums any longer for feature requests.

Sorry, this is not true. You might not get feedback here, but QNAP still does this.

Ok Kurt, but tell me what's the point of posting here and then not knowing if Qnap will or won't do anything about your request? Makes no sense at all.

Its like talking to a brick wall. You'll never know whether your request is listened to or not or how long it will take.

By telling users to submit a ticket qnap at least something official is requested.

This is a "Features Wanted" - so a pure wish list only.
