QNAP licence not only paypal

Hi all,

Can we have qnap licence website https://license.qnap.com supporting more than just paypal?

I do want to buy virusscan but I dont have paypal.

Ssl certificate and other purchases can be done with credit cards. Why not qnap licences?

the website only allows paypal. not credit cards.

myqnapcloud website accepts both so I don't see a reason why licence.qnap.com can't do it too.

Maybe it's because payments for 3rd party licenses get paid to 3rd parties (and they might prefer paypal)

The simple answer is, no.....you cant.

Either purchase via Paypal, or dont purchase at all.

You can still use credit card option without a Paypal "account". Its just they're the company that does the transaction for QNAP.

Different from most payment service businesses, credit, and debit card clearing houses, PayPal has a banking license in many countries. If you have security concerns on PayPal in general, and specifically as a credit card clearing company, you should talk to the security people of your credit card issues, or blame PayPal with Master Card, Visa, ... The requirements for credit card clearings are rather high - and very easy to loose.

Your original question was about buying a AntiVirus license and you don't have a PayPal account. There is no need to have a PayPal account to pay by credit card.

Well, originally you asked if you can pay by credit card - what _is_ definitively possible with QNAP - for licenses, SSL certificates, for spare parts.

Curious if you check on other Internet stores which credit card (or debit card) clearing house in involved handling the transaction commonly hidden on many online shops? PayPal is certainly a trusted, serious, and secure clearing house - if not, the credit card issuers would have immediately revoked their contracts for PayPal's Credit Card payment clearing - and they would bring their banking licenses at risk, too. Or do you know more about potential issues, do you?

no it's not possible. what is possible is use paypal to manage/perform your credit card payment.

Still no need for a PayPal account - you can check-out just with your credit card:
