Shared clipboard for Virtualization station VM

Postby Verklson » Mon Oct 16, 2017 10:46 am

It would be very useful if there was a shared clipboard capability with Virtualization Station, so text copied from outside the VM could be pasted within the VM. This is a standard feature with other VM products such as Parallels and VirtualBox.

Without it, all source input must come from within the VM itself which can often be clumsy and difficult to make available within the VM.

Please submit a helpdesk ticket with QNAP for this Feature Enhancement. Whether this is technically feasible is a completely different issue as for the examples you gave they are running local on your PC, where this is running on the NAS. You do have the capability of using VNC, RDP, etc. to connect to clients which may give you that capability for some VM's.
