It would be nice if we could share team folders not to all users, but only members of one specific group.

what do you mean by team folders ?
if it is a regular folder..assigning group permissions to a folder, is available

In QNAP terms, Team Folders are a QSync feature, permitting users/permitting users to create ad-hoc team folders.
Unclear if you talk about NAS Shared Folders or Qsync Team Folders.
