Hi Everyone.
I have multiple QNaps without internet-connection. They are in a separate network for security reasons. And, each NAS is even in an own network. There is a third network just for Sync-Reasons where the qnaps are inside with their second Interface. One of them can reach an SMTP-Server, the other one can't. It would be very cool to be able to "collect" the system notifications from a remote-device that I can see them just by logging in in one device in QTS. And therefore I could send them from one device without giving the other one too many permissions.
It would be great if that was possible. What is your opinion about that? I hope it is not already possible (or is it?)

You can have the system messages sent to a syslog server.
Use the forum search feature before posting.
Use RAID and external backups. RAID will protect you from disk failure, keep your system running, and data accessible while the disk is replaced, and the RAID rebuilt. Backups will allow you to recover data that is lost or corrupted, or from system failure. One does not replace the other.
NAS: TVS-882BR | F/W: 5.0.1.2346 | 40GB | 2 x 1TB M.2 SATA RAID 1 (System/VMs) | 3 x 1TB M.2 NMVe QM2-4P-384A RAID 5 (cache) | 5 x 14TB Exos HDD RAID 6 (Data) | 1 x Blu-ray
NAS: TVS-h674 | F/W: 5.0.1.2376 | 16GB | 3 x 18TB RAID 5
Apps: DNSMasq, PLEX, iDrive, QVPN, QLMS, MP3fs, HBS3, Entware, DLstation, VS, +

Re: QTS - being able to "pair" the notification center of two Qnaps
Hi!
sorry that was my fault... this seems to be exactly what I need... sorry for that
But one Question: I set up the Syslog-Server on the nas that can access the SMTP, and the Syslog-Client on the other NAS. And I even set up the client on the NAS itself, so now it collects the messages in one logfile. It also has an SMTP-Function - so it is just perfect for me. I set up the SMTP-Server in the notification Center (where I get referenced by A link on where to configure the SMTP in the Syslog-Server).
Now it just sends me the local Syslog-Messages as Mail... What am I doing wong? Where can I set up the Syslog Server to send all those Messages as Mail?
