please update SeaBIOS in Virtualization Station

Post by ssybesma »

The version of SeaBIOS (1.8.2) that's in the latest Virtualization Station (3.2.701) is over 4 years old.

The latest version of SeaBIOS is 1.12.0 from last November:

https://www.seabios.org/Releases#SeaBIOS_1.12.0

There have been a bunch of major changes since 1.8.2

Another thing I would like to see you implement is a virtual diskette drive.

There's still a lot of people who need to use a bootable diskette without first having to convert it to an ISO and then drivers have to be installed if using a DOS VM anyway. No drivers needed for a diskette.

SeaBIOS has supported virtual diskette drives since version 0.4.2 so you just need to implement the interface.
