The contact's support right now in google is very simple and does not comply with the standards used in outlook. I have already use nuevasync with my iphone, and when it comes to contacts they don't work to good

I'm trying to install the DAVICal (former rscds) calendar sever.

I have installed some of the needed packages...

Phyton with qkpg
ipkg with qpkg
postgresql with ipkg
gettext with ipkg

but the next steps, changing the install/config scripts for sql/ical server looks very complicated.

Has someone tried this for the QNAP?

I need a place where you can have all the contacts and calendar information as you can sync down to a mail program on your computer.

So buy an HP Server and Install Windows on it.

Wow, Zarafa directly on the QNAP, cool, that will make small companys drop usual servers!

This would be a great thing, even if it supported the basic Zarafa, home users could use this too.

I dont see anything on Qnaps website about this, could be a few months, perhaps a year before they develop and test the software.

Does Qnap read/reply to these? Perhaps a quick email to the support may answer this.
