Re: Support XMP tags in Photo Station
Please add XMP support. I use Adobe Lightroom to add headlines, captions, keywords etc. to my images. Including GPS coordinates; so showing a small google map with location image taken would be wonderfull. Headline, caption, IPTC location, keywords etc. searchable.

Re: Support XMP tags in Photo Station
Hello,
Photo Station 5.6 supported read and write metadata (Exif/IPTC/XMP) to the original file. For more details, please refer to Photo Station tutorial > Viewing and Editing Metadata:
https://www.qnap.com/en/how-to/tutorial ... to-station
Please update to Photo Station 5.6 to use this feature. Thank you.

Re: Support XMP tags in Photo Station
Photo Station 5.7.6 still not import XMP metadata. I have a collection of 100.000 photos tagged with Lightroom. Jpg files metadata are correctly imported. NEF XMP metadata still not imported...

Re: Support XMP tags in Photo Station
I have the same question...
I want to use software TagThatPhoto, which store XMP tags inside picture metadata.
But I found out that QNAP do not recognize such tags, which are most common to use.
Why do I need this way? Because I'm using 2 NAS from QNAP, 1 is the old one who do not support any tags at all, but all pictures are tagged on this NAS via external PC software TagThatPhoto via network share. Other new NAS is just for complete backup, but I see that this taggs are not recognized...
So, will this be ever supported in QNAP Photo Station? If yes then when and with which version? If no, maybe is time to migrate to other NAS producer...

Yes this is something I would like to see and this would be good in the video library and music library as well

Re: Support XMP tags in Photo Station
I stumbled upon this post after I recently moved to Lightroom as editing software. Lightroom saves meta data as embeded xmp tags into the jpg files. Unfortunately QuMagie and Photo Station are still not reading that data...
QNAP please add this feature! Without this feature the search function becomes almost useless for users using xmp data.

request the feature via ticket...requesting it here does nothing
