Run SSD overprovision test on single drive or RAID1 set?

Post by kbyrd » Wed Jul 01, 2020 4:17 am

On a TS-673, I'm going to be installing:
- a pair of M.2 SATA drives in RAID1 for a system/VM volume
- a pair of 2.5" SSDs in RAID1 to use as the fast tier in QTier

Before I do this I was going to run the SSD overprovisioning test on one M.2 and one SSD. Is it better or different to run it on the RAID1 set instead?
