Can I assume/hope that insetting one of my 4 new HHDs into port 2 will start a RAID rebuild?

What happend to disc sdc3? It seems to be far off (Events), RAID will not rebuild with this and this should be the reason it is offline.

It's been failing some SMART scans, and I want to replace it (and all of them ) as soon as possible. Do you have any suggests as to how I can update its data?

so infection is still possible if the nas opened ports via upnp on request

with a drive missing and the other one badly out of sync, the data is toast (raid5) and the whole system should be started from scratch (check and clean the autostart then restore your data from backups)

That's the confirmation I need; thanks. I was holding out hope I could duct-tape and bailing twine the RAID up just enough to sip in new HDDs, but that's a lost cause.
