hi all,
Please see the attached screen capture.
One day, I found my Qnap nas alert light to "Red" color, it told me the capacity volumn is nearly reached to maximum.
Having checked that the system files occupied most of my qnap nas space. I don't know how to remove the dummy system files.
Can any body help me to solve this problem? @_@
Regards,
alan

Re: System Files makes Threshold Reach to Maximum
check if there is any rogue folders on your cachedev (either create a folder and use the manual assignment to search through it) or connect to the nas via winscp
also the question if the nas was web exposed, remains unanswered

Re: System Files makes Threshold Reach to Maximum
Hi
Thx very much for your prompt reply
May I know how to check any rogue folders on my cachedev? I just know how to browse my created folders .
However , nas took only show my created folder & files occupied only less than 1Tb . I don’t know where is the system file stored, which occupied most of my space
Regards
Alan

Re: System Files makes Threshold Reach to Maximum
create a folder and in the manual assignment of the storage location, you can search through the datavol/cachedev location
