Restore storage pool and volumes

Post by djtron »

Hi, I have replaced the 2nd drive in my 2 bay NAS and removed it's storage pool in the "Storage & Snapshots" (non-raid). However, I forgot to copy some files before I removed it. Now, when I re-insert the 2nd drive, the NAS didn't detect the pool or drive. How can I retrieve now my files? Thank you.

have you tried the "recover" option in your storage gui?

no backups with a non raid setup? what is the plan for disk failure scenarios? And even with redundant setups..raid is no substitute for backups
