I have a QNAP TS-859 Pro+ and have been running via ethernet on a gigabit network.
Can I get faster speeds if I use 2 both ethernet jacks on the NAS?
I noticed QNAP has port trunking while my router has link aggregation:
"Link Aggregation empowers your network-attached storage (NAS) devices by combining two separate Ethernet ports into a 2Gbps connection."
Anybody know if using one or both of these options will give me faster connection to my NAS?
Is Port Trunking for me?

it will give you faster speeds if you use more than one client
Not sure if those older NAS would also support multichannel SMB (if the client has more than one NIC)
