Hi,
I am using a TS-453D with 2 discs and Raid 1 and i noticed something odd...
Yesterday i moved 550GB of files from my home folder to a shared folder (still internally on my NAS).
And when i check my volumes history it says that i have added the same amount (550GB) to the NAS, but the only thing i have done is to move the files internally on my NAS (See attached images)
Why does it looks like i have copied the files when i actually moved them?
Can this depend on my raid configuration?

Hard disc space went full when moving files internally. (?)

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hi thank you for quick respons
No. Snapshots is deactivated.
Also i am quite new in this area so Im still learning every day.
I dont know if this has to do with whether i have a thick or thin volume?
In my understanding this should not have to with this since thick or thing allocates partly/whole storage pool, which i have chosen.

The recycle bin contained all the files i moved.
Thanks alot!
But why do they appear in the recycle bin when i choose to move the files?

Did you move it via external client or internal file station?
Depending on the circumstances the external client might copy/erase (takes a while) or actually move (instantly)

Ah okey.
I did move the files with an external client, via Adobe Lightroom.
I wonder if its possible to configure so that Lightroom move (instantly).
Do you know any known work around for that?

OK, no problem.
The most important was that i understood what´s happening in my NAS when i moved images via Lightroom.
Thanks so much for your help, really appreciated!
