QTS 5.0 How to create RAID 1?

Post by salvsalvo »

Hi all

I have a TS 251D (firmware 5.0.0.1785) with a single disk (the machine is up and running, all has been set and transferred from the previous NAS).
Now I'd like to add a second disk (same WD red) but I don't' find an easy way to create a RAID 1 (just to create a RAID 1, I don't want to lose files or any other stuff).

I had previously a TS 212P and the process was quite easy using this user manual
https://docs.qnap.com/nas-outdated/4.1/ ... gement.htm

but I don't' find the same easy way to do this on the new QTS 5.
any suggestion or help?

thanks in advance
S.
