Disable System fan 1 failed error

Post by Gatorchomp850 »

Hello,

If this isn't the correct place to post this i do apologize. I have a older TS-870 Pro in which the fan 1 header burnt out and does not work. I can still use both fans if i use a 4 pin fan splitter and connecting them to the fan 2 header. However, When i go to the dashboard i always get the [Hardware Status] System fan 1 failed error in the system logs and in the System Health section. I found where to disable the error message and beeping on the LCD but how do i go about disabling the error message in the system logs and system health section? Thank you in advance

I would love to know this as well. My CPU fan failed and I couldn't find a replacement with the sensor wire so the new fan works but doesn't report rpm.

I sure would like to disable/suppress this particular event from cluttering up the logs.
