HELP please! Error Storage Pool 1 space is critically low- it is not!

Post by rk1912 »

Hi everyone,

I am new to QNAP and I am trying to set it up and have been copying over all my files all weekend, but I have hit a roadblock. I am not technical and am trying to understand why I have gone into Read Write mode and why I am getting an error message saying Storage Pool 1 space is critically low, when it is not. I have only used about 728GB and there is 2.07TB left!

When I set up data volume 1 I set it to the maximum size so it is one volume which is the full size of the pool.

I hope that makes sense! Please can someone help me, I cannot understand what this means or what to do, I still have so many more files that I want to copy over. If someone could explain it in basic terms I would be so grateful.

Thank You
Roshni

common mistake...lots of threads about it..the screenshot shows the volume..but the warning is about the pool..modify/disable the pool warning

or shrink the volume if you want pool space for other tasks (snapshots etc)
