I'm getting this message: "Storage Pool 1 space has reached the alert threshold. Insufficient space might affect data storage and snapshot services.", but I'm not sure how to deal with it.
See also details in the screenshot.
Can anyone help?
Thanks.
Regards
Morten

make sure you do not fill the pool to 100%, it might lock the volumes to read only

Use RAID and external backups. RAID will protect you from disk failure, keep your system running, and data accessible while the disk is replaced, and the RAID rebuilt. Backups will allow you to recover data that is lost or corrupted, or from system failure. One does not replace the other.

Re: Storage Pool 1 space has reached the alert threshold
Thanks for your reply. However, I think I might misunderstand (don't understand the "Storage Pool 1 alert").
The Pool (Storage Pool 1) consists of DataVol1 (system) and DataVol2.
DataVol1 has 9TB free space, and DataVol2 has 6TB free space (see screenshot).
Why the Pool alert?
Also, my NAS suggest converting a thick volume to a thin volume to increase unallocated space (see screenshot). What would that bring?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Storage Pool 1 space has reached the alert threshold
look at the used pool space (green) and the warning threshold (red line) .. pretty self explanatory
