Tried to create my first storage pool as a RAID 5 made from 4 WD SN 700 SSDs. These are installed in 2 QDA-U2MP adapters in the U.2 bays of my TS-h973AX. Wizzard automatically enabled QSAL as it is a RAID 5 with SSDs. But when I click next I get a warning: To enable QSAL, two or more SSDs in each RAID group must be able to provide estimated life remaining. Can only proceed by disabling QSAL.
First thought the system cannot read estimated life remaining from the SSDs because of the ASMEDIA chip in the adatpter not providing this information. But in the Disks/VJBOD section of Storage & Snapshots each SSD shows an estimated life remaining of 100%.
Is this a bug in the current firmware? I'm running the latest version of QUTS Hero which is currently h5.0.1.2045.
