the drives should be visually represented in the enclosure on the disk/vjbod screen (you can see what slot they occupy)

The simplest and safest for you would be 2 12TB drives in Raid 1 or 4+ of the same size drives in Raid 5/6starnz wrote: ↑Mon Nov 21, 2022 7:03 am Thank you for the help to this point.

You just have to be very very careful about it.
The GUI will try to help you with that; you probably already know that if you go to the Storage &Snapshots /Disks/VJBOD, if you select a disk it will show you where on the NAS it is installed. And of course, they're numbered and in order
And the RAID Group button will show you all the disks from a certain RAID group.
