TS-269 Pro Won't Boot Properly

Post by gubbe »

Upon pressing the power button the NAS starts. Then Both HDD LEDs and the Power LED go red.

The LEDs then turn off and the LAN LED continue flickering.

Nothing else happens. See image below.

Pushing reset for three seconds doesn't do anything.

Two questions:
  • Is the NAS dead or can I revive it?
  • If it's dead, how do I get my data?
Image

Thanks.

The data should be easy to recover. use your backups (ALWAYS have backups!)

Does the NAS start into setup without disks?(if not the NAS could be busted)

Yeah, well I have the disks but no separate backups of those disks. I KNOW I SHOULD have a separate disk, but I just don't at this point.

On boot the NAS starts nothing at all happens except what I described in my previous post. It doesn't register on the network and I can't find it using Qfinder or a network scan... I suspect it's cooked and I need a new one.

Then only chance is to look up for a compatible NAS and put the disks in: NAS migration.

Take care of having backups in future.
