FORBIDDEN Error In Browser

Post by nsk_audio »

Apologies for possible newbie question - i have two Mac's connected to a QNAP TS832XU-RP. One can connect to the storage folder which shows up on it's desktop and can connect to the server software via Firefox and the admin login.
The other Mac can see the storage folder but i'm getting 'FORBIDDEN' when trying to login as Admin via Safari or Chrome. Am I missing something ???

Thanks in advance.

I would assume you have restricted access to the system (System -> Security -> Allow/Deny List) or in the firewall setup.

Thanks for responding - have looked at the settings on that machine and the Firewall is turned off, I can't see any Allow/Deny list.
Both machines are on Mac OSX Big Sur.
