Any Issue with adding a 2nd Expansion Enclosure to a TS251+

Post by jprobins »

I am running a TS251+ with a TR-002 expansion enclosure attached via USB. I am thinking of adding a second expansion enclosure (a TR004) to the TS251+. Any issue with this? Am I trying to extend the TS251+ too far? Is anyone running a muti-expansion enclosure setup like this?

Thanks,

Jim

I've both TR-004 and TR-002 with a more powerful NAS, but it was a total disaster for me! After adding the newer TR-004, I wasn't able to access the data on the TR-002 anymore!

I have a suspicion about the problem source : both expansions units has its own storage pool. Not sure about this. Someone having another explanation?
