Cannot disable cache acceleration

Post by andrew.0101 »

Hi,

Please excuse my ignorance, this is all new to me.
I'm playing around with my new TS-451D2, I installed an ssd drive and one other harddrive.
I enabled ssd cache acceleration and now I can't turn it off.
The switch to turn it off looks to be disabled as is the remove option on the manage menu.

Apologies, that other post is sitting right in front of me now... oops.
I searched "cache acceleration" before posting and couldn't find anything. I also spent about an hour googling it.

Can I fire a semi-related question in here... I want to remove the ssd cache to see if I can run the cache from a volume on the ssd, that is install a 1TB SSD drive and allocate say 300GB to cache acceleration then use the remaining space as a "fast volume"?
