3-second reset, QFinder sees it but I can't access it

Post by 88Dit »

For some reason today I was unable to log in as admin and a local user so I thought I would perform the 3-second reset. I understand the network settings would be reset. So I installed the QFinder util and now I see the unit (TS-673) which got an IP from my DHCP server but it doesn't respond to pings and I can't log in to the web interface or through SSH to that assigned IP. I've powered it off and back on again but no change. Any suggestions for next steps?

Ah fixed it, forgot Trunking was in effect and wiped out with the reset. I unplugged NIC #2 and we're good. Time to start drinking.

Not sure I see a reason for you to have stopped in the first place :) System issue generally lead to increased drinking, at least that what I hear.
