Hi all.
I have a TS-410 running 4.2.6.20210327
Something happened and the unit did some sort of reset. It now says that it is unitialised and wants to overwrite all of my drives. I do not have a Factory Reset file.
I have 4 x 4tb drives in a RAID 5. There are a lot of files on there that it DO not want to loose. Hence running the system as a RAID 5. If there anyway I can get the system running again without loosing my files.
As you can guess I am really really worried..
Many thanks
Dave

Re: NAS Crashed, trying to recover RAID
A RAID is no backup .. a painful lesson for many people to learn
If you do not know where to start, do not fiddle with it yourself
Contact either QNAP support or a data recovery specialist to reassemble the RAID (should not be too hard on an old CAT1 device like the TS-410)
If you ever get your data back, start making backups!
