Move Raid 10 disks to new slots

Hi, I started using the TVS-671 with 4 x 3TB disks in slots 1-4 in Raid10 configuration. Now I want to add a SSD to create a SSD Cache. However, the system says the SSD cache can only run from slots 1-4. What is the easiest way to vacate one of the slots to take a new SSD drive?

Turn it off, move the drives to slots 3-6, add the SSDs and turn on.
Then build your cache.
The drive positions are not important.

Thanks storageman. I read somewhere that disk 1 had default files and system stuff which would not work if moved?

Not true. It is the first volume built that contains the default shares and system stuff and not disk 1.
