TS 251 Question - Raid 1 Expansion

Post by banhorn »

Hi guys,

I'm running into an issue with my RAID 1 volume. I've read through the documentation and the forums and it sounds like I should be able to see an potion to expand my volume to the size of my new drives, but I can't seem to find the right buttons in the gui. I just swapped out the mirrored 3TB drives for 8TB, but there is no option to expand the volume to match the new drives. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

-Brett

Nevemind... the expand capacity button finally showed up when the "Replace disk one by one" menu stopped being greyed out. Thanks!

Did you actually do the "Replace disk one by one" procedure or did you just swap out the drives, as you indicated in your first post?
