Expand Volume greyed out when trying to expand RAID Volume

Post by jaceresch »

Hello,

We recently had to upgrade a RAID 1 array in a TS-469L the unit previously had two 2TB drives and were replaced with 4TB.

The raid was rebuilt one 4TB at time after rebuilding i went to expand the volume to take advantage of the extra space only to find the "Expand Volume" button was disabled.
Am i required to safely detach the volume first or can anyone point me in the right direction to expand the volume?

Did you simply swop them or did you follow the instructions? "Expanding RAID Group Capacity"
Try rebooting or failing that try running "Check File System"
