I had the same problem. I have QNAP TS-269L. Once, I turned it on without disk # 2 and from that moment, problems started. I did low level formatting, scanned different tools, no result. A few days ago there was a new update 4.3.3.0238. After the update, I started scanning the disk again and QNAP showed the message, something like: "If there are no errors, do you want to clear the error history?" After scanning, everything went back to normal and the system does not show disk errors.
