Migrate all disks between QNAPs

Hi,
We have two identical QNAPs TS-EC1280U with 12 HHD build on RAID 5.
Recently we've decided to update the network adapters to 10G.
Since both QNAPs share the same config and has the same block-based LUNs I've thought why can't we update the Firmware - unfortunately the old firmware was too old and the rebuilding of the RAID was necessary. After rebuilding the raid I thought it will be much faster to transfer the data from the non-upgraded QNAP to the upgraded (with the new firmware) when the 10G adapter is installed. Yes, but after I've shutdown the non-upgraded QNAP he never started again.
So my question is if we place all of the disks from the broken QNAP to the working one would I be able to extract the data?
If so, what is the necessary steps I have to follow ( besides placing the HHDs in the same slots from non-working QNAP to the working one )
